Of British parents, Juliet was born in Switzerland in 1976. After graduating from Art school in Geneva she spent a gap year in the Middle East before moving to Paris to pursue her career as a photographer. Her work has been exhibited in Paris and more recently in Geneva and Vancouver.
The latest body of work, Hydrometeors, is a photographic reflection on space and time continuums. By altering one of her senses, in this case her vision through intense fog, she attempts to reshuffle her perception of what is important, and recognise the fundamental elements in life whilst leaving the rest behind. The series commands a pause from the race, inviting the viewer into the image where the elements slowly reveal themselves carrying therefore a sense of calm and serenity.
All her work is shot using a Rolleiflex with mid format colour film.
Juliet currently lives and works in the UK.
